Oscar winner?Christoph Waltz spoofed American Idol in a short that ran Thursday on Jimmy Kimmel?s late-night show.
?
In the video, Waltz, playing up his Inglorious Basterds persona, began to judge Idol singer Stefano Langone.?
?
Langone -- who was voted off the Fox competition on Thursday night -- was "executed" by Waltz?s two armed guards. Waltz said while sipping an oversized mug of hot cocoa,??You don?t inflate a malfunctioning ego. No, you eliminate him. Permanently.?
?
Waltz then did a quick dance to ?Who Let the Dogs Out? in front of judges?Steven Tyler,?Jennifer Lopez?and?Randy Jackson and asked them to critique his performance in order to "save" their lives.?
?
Lopez and Jackson followed his request and "saved" their lives, but Tyler did not make the cut.
