What is bonsai?

Many people think that all the small trees cut and trimmed to a Japanese miniature size but literally ?plant in a container,? Bonsai while they are smaller than their wild counterparts do not have to be a couple of inches high, which can be grown in pots in the garden and will be smaller than their wild counterparts.

Misconceptions about bonsai.

Many people believe that the training of bonsai trees is a cruel pastime because it deprives farmers and logging to the point where it becomes dangerous. Quite the opposite is usually true when cut and pruned enough to prevent the boat, they are usually transferred from pot to pot and are regularly fed and watered much more frequently than their wild cousins.

Contrary to popular belief, bonsai are not Japanese, but there are records dating back over 2000 years that show Bonsai being grown in China. These Bonsai were as small as the Bonsai that people often imagine, and were grown in an outdoor individually in pots. It was, however, the Japanese have taken this art form and was up to the level it is now. This resulted in very different styles in Japanese and Chinese bonsai, the Chinese Bonsai is much freer and a little cut miniature Japanese Bonsai are well kept and trimmed in a more natural and look like miniature versions of size versions complete.

Bonsai do not live shorter lives than wild trees. They live on a regular basis for several centuries and are traditionally handed down from one generation to another family. They lead to almost exactly the same length of life than their wild cousins, and often much healthier because they get attention.

The advantages of growing bonsai.

Not everyone has a great garden where you can plant many trees and let them grow as big as they want, and even those that are large gardens still have to wait many years before the tree becomes truly established. By cultivating bonsai is not necessary to place more than the size of the pot and you only have to move much lower ratios, is very accessible to anyone interested in growing bonsai trees. It can even be grown indoors if you can recreate the conditions for the tree you want to develop.

The cultivation of bonsai trees can quickly become an addictive hobby and requires attention to detail, foresight of how the tree will grow and a lot of time and care. You will probably feel the massive satisfaction if you decide to grow Bonsai and is not good at it.
