David Marquet is a retired US Naval officer who commanded the nuclear submarine USS Sante Fe, an organization at the onset dogged by low morale, poor performance, and the worst employee retention in the fleet.? David?s new book,Turn the Ship Around: How to Create Leadership at Every Level, chronicles how he and his team broke from traditional leadership stereotypes and approaches to create a model of engagement and innovation to which everyone could contribute.?
