Toys City USAF CCT HALO review

Another new one to look at I hope that you guys and gals like this latest review. It is always my intention to provide some information and entertainment all rolled into one. Please feel free to leave and and all questions or comments. Both are appreciated.

Also appreciated is the time taken to look at the review and accompanying pics of the figure. Again, it is my hope that you derive some enjoyment from both.

Best regards, Mike

Very nice review, thanks for taking the time to write it up. I've been on the fence about TC's quality but I think you've swayed me! Haha

Great write-up, as usual.

Just to clarify: the headsculpt is a very good likeness of Andy Whitfield, the Welshman who played the man called Spartacus in Spartacus: Blood and Sand. He has been replaced for next next season, as he is battling cancer.

Thanks for checking it out

I had wondered if the head-sculpt was based on a real guy. Looking back I am glad I didn't try to take a guess as I would never have know who the head was based on.

Having family members who have and are going through this, I sure do hope that he wins the battle with cancer.

What exactly is Toys City. I havent got a military figure in about 5 years. Is it a new company, I noticed when I do a weapons search on Ebay, a lot of them has "city" after the description.

Welcome aboard

Toys City are a fairly new company as of a year or so back. Somewhere between Hot Toys and BBI quality I'd say.

Very interesting that the word city pops up in the descriptions. Might be one of the weapons they produced being sold as a loose parts piece. They also make Russian and German WWII era figures, so if any of the search results are applicable to those categories it may be a Toys City piece.

Thanks for taking a look David

The M4 did get a repaint. I am not a fan of the vivid tan color that TC uses on their weapon and hardline gear, so I decided to give it a more neutral tan, The weathering is just plain fun to do, so that was a bonus to add it to the M4.

Here is a little side by side of the results:
